Online marketing truly, is your ticket to financial freedom. It's all in how you go about it. I have discovered over
several years online many ways to market my own businesses as well as creating marketing for others. Usually when someone thinks
of starting a business they are thought of as a born entrepreneur - a natural extrovert who has no trouble selling a
product. Not necessarily so.
If you’re starting a business so you can spend more time with your family, this could be your ticket. In fact, you
might find that the internet offers you more ways to acquire recurring income than you ever thought of.
Marketing is no longer a one-way-street where the seller tells the buyer about their product. These days, it’s
about the business having a conversation with the customer. Building a community of likeminded individuals such as Facebook
pages for business and social media. Have you heard of Squidoo, Tumblr, Wordpress and Digg?
If you think about marketing as a conversation, suddenly all the tension goes away. That’s because most of
us are actually pretty good at having conversations.
How do you start the conversation? Try blogging, podcasting, writing free e-books, creating a website full of useful
content, getting involved in charity events, Facebook, Twitter, Linked In, You Tube, presentations and speaking engagements,
surveys or questionnaires (online or off), newsletters with useful content (not just ads), business networking, newspaper
or magazine articles, online articles and news releases, online forums. Or just old fashioned talking to people in on
Skype, forums or message systems or anywhere at all!
Quit chasing the online fads, gimmicks and hype in hopes of suddenly getting rich. Follow a proven
established business models that truly will change your life for the better. Online or even off line marketing is the way
to go.
